Article 48 – Duties of citizens

Each person shall the following duties:

• (a)
  Protect nationality, sovereignty and integrity of Nepal by pledging allegiance to the nation,
• (b)
  Abide by the constitution and law,
• (c)
  Compulsorily enlist when the state needs the service.
• (d)
  To protect and conserve public property.
